When it comes to explaining why American Prep WV lost, one person who can't be blamed is Nicole Tran. Despite the final result, she scored 13 points along with five rebounds and four steals. That was a full 44.8% of American Prep WV's points, marking the fifth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Elaine Lunsford continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Intermountain Christian, dropping a double-double on 24 points and 17 rebounds. Lunsford has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last six times she's played. Makenna Stoddard was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds.
