Corey Maddox and Paul Riles provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Xavier. The longest such play in Southern Connecticut Division II - West this season, the connection resulted in 85 yards.
Law lost to Hamden 42-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. Max German was a bright spot for the Lawmen, as he ran for 70 yards in the loss.
Hillhouse's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Maddox threw for 133 and 1 touchdown and Riles had 90 yards receiving. On the ground Harold Cooper contributed 113 yards. Cooper helped Hillhouse's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 25 yards.

Lyman Hall's Kyle Smith and Jerry Rodriguez have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-2 quarterback Smith has thrown for 464 yards this season, while Rodriguez has 12 catches for 199 yards. Cooper from Hillhouse leads the league in rushing with 675 yards.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Reggie Lytle's team takes on the Trojans. The Academics are in first place, while Lyman Hall is in third place.
