Alton Henderson Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, Marshall had to settle for second even though Alton Henderson put up the best numbers he has all season. Henderson rushed for 113 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.1 yards per carry, and also threw for 193 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. For the season, Henderson has thrown 5 touchdowns while averaging 101.8 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 1.67 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 59.83 rushing yards.

Texas Gets a Boost from Johnson in 43-42 Win
Texas picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Javari Johnson.
