After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Panguitch, Maeser Prep Academy was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. In other batting news, Maeser Prep Academy got a massive performance out of Trace Turner, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. Porter Bruce was another key contributor, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Maeser Prep Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That's the most hits they've earned since back in August of 2023.
The win got Maeser Prep Academy back to even at 1-1.
Maeser Prep Academy will welcome Piute at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Wendover, they will venture away from home to face off against Pinnacle at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
