Last Tuesday, Central Dauphin East lost to Cumberland Valley at home by a decisive 69-53 margin.
Meanwhile, Carlisle unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 61-51 to Cumberland Valley. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Carlisle has scored all season.
Central Dauphin East's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-2. As for Carlisle, their loss dropped their record down to 4-1.
Central Dauphin East came up short against Carlisle in their previous meeting back in January, falling 73-60. Can Central Dauphin East avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
