Bellaire came into Monday's contest having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 37-36 victory over the North Michigan Christian Academy Comets. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Bellaire's win bumped their record up to 10-6. As for North Michigan Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Bellaire will venture away from home to square off against Pellston at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles are facing the Hornets at the right time seeing as the Hornets are stuck on a 14-game losing streak. As for North Michigan Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge Alba at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
