The result was an unpleasant reminder to them of the 6-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.
Sidney Ditchen led a balanced group of hitters, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Ellasyn Loudenburg, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
As for Tri-Valley, they pushed their record up to 14-2-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games.
On Tri-Valley's side, Ellie Dehner looked comfortable as she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Dehner has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
