4A Region I District 6 recap September 10, 2013
Dunbar scaled the state rankings by moving to 264 from 323 this week, the biggest jump in 4A Region I District 6. The Wildcats climbed the ranks as a result of defeating Wyatt 42-6.
Carter-Riverside lost to All Saints 64-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Jaylen King was the best running back in the league this week. In 15 carries, he ran for 107 yards as Saginaw lost to Creekview. Teammate Antonio Clark added to the ground attack by rushing for 45 yards.
King provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Rough Riders fell to the Mustangs.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Chisholm Trail takes on Dunbar. As it stands, the Rangers are in seventh, while Todd Lawson's team is in first.
Birdville led 4A Region I District 6 in scoring this week by notching 46 points on Richland.
