King Campbell Crosses Big Stat Threshold
On Friday, Cottonwood got the W thanks in part to King Campbell playing the best football he has all season. Campbell rushed for 150 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries, and also picked up 103 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (104.4) per game. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last seven games he's played dating back to last season.
The win for Cottonwood keeps them at an undefeated 9-0. Campbell and Cottonwood will square off against Long at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Brendan Hall Delivers Electric Performance Vs Houston County
Geneva County had to settle for second on Friday, but Brendan Hall sure wasn't going down easily. Nobody could stop Hall as he rushed for 221 yards and three touchdowns.
Geneva County dropped their record down to 4-4 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. Hall and Geneva County are taking a road trip to challenge Ariton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Pittman Made His Presence Known in Providence Christian's 42-17 Victory
Providence Christian picked up their fifth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Craig Pittman. Pittman did his part (and then some), throwing for 169 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 passes, while also rushing for 58 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries for the 'W'.
This season, Pittman has thrown 14 touchdowns (and and only 2 picks) while averaging 119.8 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after eight games last season, he was only averaging 11.63 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 80 rushing yards.

Tyler Sharp and Co. Win Fifth in a Row
Tyler Sharp's big game helped extend Providence Christian's winning streak to five on Friday. Sharp was dynamite, rushing for 23 yards and a touchdown, while also catching a touchdown.
