In what's become a running theme this season, the Phoenix Country Day Eagles gave their fans yet another huge victory on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 74-30 win over Arizona Lutheran Academy at home. The victory was nothing new for Phoenix Country Day as they're now sitting on 14 straight.
Phoenix Country Day got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Aila Kaibara out in front who scored 30 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Kaibara hasn't dropped below two steals for 14 straight games. Another player making a difference was Olivia Owens, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 rebounds.
Phoenix Country Day's victory was their 28th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 22-3. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 41.5 points. As for Arizona Lutheran Academy, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-5.
Phoenix Country Day will head out on the road to square off against the Scorpions at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Red Rock comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last nine games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Arizona Lutheran Academy, they will be playing at home against the Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
