The Sumrall Bobcats will be staying on the road  on Tuesday to face off against the Pearl River Central Blue Devils at 6:30  p.m. Sumrall is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 7.9  runs per game  this season.
 Sumrall can now show off 12 landslide victories after their most recent  match  on Friday. They blew past Raleigh 12-0. The high-scoring effort was just what Sumrall needed considering they were shutout in their previous   matchup.
  Brandi Bond was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit (she also didn't allow any  walks). Bond has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in four consecutive pitching appearances. Bond was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring three  runs and  stealing two bases while going 3-for-3.
 In other pitching news,  Avery Smith looked comfortable as she  pitched  an inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (she also didn't allow any  walks). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in ten consecutive pitching appearances.
 Back at the plate,  Brette Loftin was  incredible,  going 2-for-2 with a  home run, four  RBI,  and a  double.  Ella Robertson was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Pearl River Central beat Harrison Central 4-1  on Saturday.
 Sumrall's record now sits at 18-9. As for Pearl River Central, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record  this season.
 Sumrall took their  win against Pearl River Central  in their previous meeting  back in February by a conclusive  7-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Sumrall since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
