The Jupiter Christian Eagles are taking a road trip to challenge the Brito Panthers at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. Jupiter Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.
Jupiter Christian is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They walked away with an 11-7 win over St. Edward's. Jupiter Christian's victory was all the more impressive since the Pirates were averaging only 3.05 runs allowed on the season.

Kyle Valcich was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Crosby Sateren was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Jupiter Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are 4-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
The scorekeeper got an easy start on Saturday as neither Brito nor Atlantic Christian made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Panthers put the hurt on the Sharks with a sharp 6-0 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Panthers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Brito also got a great performance from Claudio De Los santos as he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over six innings pitched.
At the plate, Brito's win was truly a team effort as eight different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Raivon Pinder, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Pinder is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Another was Bryan Gonzalez, who went 1-for-4 with one triple and one RBI.
Jupiter Christian now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Brito, their record now sits at 8-13.
Brito's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Friday. Jupiter Christian has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 6.8 strikeouts per game.
