Pepin Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fourth straight defeat. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 59-38 walloping at the hands of American Youth Academy. That's two games in a row now that Pepin Academy has lost by exactly 21 points.
American Youth Academy was led to victory by Adam Ibrahim and Yusuf Alhamzawi. Ibrahim scored 13 points, while Alhamzawi scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Radi Mohammad, who scored nine points.
Pepin Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for American Youth Academy, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-11.
Pepin Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. American Youth Academy will head out on the road to square off against the Rough Riders at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully American Collegiate Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Thursday.
