Basketball Recap: Pisgah Picks Up 13th Consecutive Win

Pisgah had already won 12 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.3 points) and they went ahead and made it 13 on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the East Henderson Eagles 68-28. The Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matchups by 21 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Rylee Campbell, who posted 12 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Savannah Ivester was another key player, putting up eight points and three steals.

Pisgah was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as East Henderson only posted three assists.

Despite the loss, East Henderson saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Mamie Hill put up 14 points and eight boards.

Pisgah pushed their record up to 20-2 with the win, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30.9 points. As for East Henderson, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-14.

Pisgah wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 75-23 victory against North Henderson on the 11th. As for East Henderson, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 67-36 loss against Smoky Mountain on the 11th.
