Braxton Emerson had a dynamite game for John Battle, rushing for 198 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 10.4 yards per carry. Emerson was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 59 yards. Brayden Emerson was another key contributor, rushing for 76 yards and a touchdown on only five carries.
John Battle's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Lee, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
