Brighton had won three straight on the road, but on Friday they bumped up to 4-5 to make it four. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Rush-Henrietta Royal Comets, sneaking past 4-2. For the Bruins, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win the Royal Comets walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2023.

As for Rush-Henrietta, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat they have suffered since May 1, 2025.

For Rush-Henrietta's part, Tony Cole was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one run. Cole has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Looking ahead, Brighton will head out to face off against Greece Athena at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Rush-Henrietta, they will welcome Victor at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
