McKinley entered their tilt with Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 5-2 win over the Royals. While the Bulldogs didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-24), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

McKinley pushed their record up to 10-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-4.

Coming up, McKinley will take on Washington at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so the Bulldogs' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
