The Crosby Cougars entered their tilt with the Lee Ganders with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Crosby was the clear victor by a 56-32 margin over the Ganders. Given Crosby's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 432nd, while the Ganders are ranked 1387th), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Savannah Mckinnerney had a dynamite game for Crosby, dropping a double-double on 15 points and ten steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Mckinnerney has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Emony Destin, who scored eight points along with two steals.
Crosby is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a massive bump to their 21-11 record this season. As for Lee, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-25.
Crosby will head out on the road to challenge the Titans at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lee, they will be playing at home against the Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
