North Raleigh Christian Academy will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against SouthLake Christian Academy at 7:00 PM. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Everything went North Raleigh Christian Academy's way against Fayetteville Christian last Friday as they made off with a 34-6 win. North Raleigh Christian Academy was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the rankings had forecast.
Meanwhile, SouthLake Christian Academy made easy work of Hickory Grove Christian last week and carried off a 38-6 victory. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point SouthLake Christian Academy had established a 28-6 advantage.
Their wins bumped SouthLake Christian Academy to 2-0 and North Raleigh Christian Academy to 1-1. With both SouthLake Christian Academy and North Raleigh Christian Academy swaggering in after impressive performances, it will be interesting to see which team steps up to teach the other some humility.
