Boyertown had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the seven-run drubbing they dealt Upper Merion Area on Wednesday. The Bears were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Vikings. The matchup marked the Bears' most dominant victory of the season.

The win was the third in a row for Boyertown, bringing their record up to 5-6. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Upper Merion Area, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.
