Judd Howells posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. He struck out eight batters over 6.1 innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits.

Even though Howells couldn't lead Box Elder over Northridge, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bees are 7-2 against the Knights going back to May of 2022, a lead they'll look to extend.
