Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fairview to victory, but perhaps none more so than Luke Mangine, who posted 11 points and seven rebounds. Mangine is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last four games he's played. Trevor Ochs was another key player, putting up 15 points.
Fairview was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They are 13-3 when they've passed the ball that well.
Meanwhile, Arvada West took their game on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 78-44 win over Bear Creek. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 21 points or more this season.
Arvada West's win came from a few key players that Fairview will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Keegen Balistreri, who shot 50% from the field on his way to 18 points and eight boards. Those eight rebounds gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Cooper Vais, who had 16 points and seven boards.
Fairview's victory bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Arvada West, their win bumped their record up to 19-1.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as the two teams are some of the highest-scoring teams around. Fairview hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 57.8 points per game. However, it's not like Arvada West struggles in that department as they've been averaging 69.8 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can put up more.
Fairview was taken down by Arvada West 70-41 in their previous matchup back in February of 2025. Will the Knights have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more basketball content.
