The Calvary Christian Knights scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They claimed a resounding 96-43 victory over Hearts Academy on the road. Considering Calvary Christian has won four matchups by more than 26 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Tj Benson was his usual excellent self, scoring 24 points along with five steals. The matchup was his fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Walls, who scored eight points along with 14 rebounds and five blocks.
Calvary Christian's win bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Hearts Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-10.
Calvary Christian is on the road again on Saturday and play against Brookstone at 2:30 p.m. on December 16th. Brookstone is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 58.8 points per game. As for Hearts Academy, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Trinity Christian School of Griffin at 7:00 p.m. on December 16th. Trinity Christian School of Griffin has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 399 points over their last five matches.
