Chapman lost to Smoky Valley back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Irish walked away with a 2-0 win over the Vikings. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Irish.

While Chapman won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-21.

Chapman's victory bumped their record up to 12-15. As for Smoky Valley, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-15.

Coming up, Chapman will take on Clay Center at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Smoky Valley, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Moundridge on the 4th.
