Basketball Recap: Glasgow Piles Up the Points Against Dupont

There's no place like home for Glasgow, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They really took it to the DuPont Tigers for the full four quarters, racking up a 72-40 victory. The Dragons pushed the score to 46-25 by the end of the third, a deficit the Tigers had little chance of recovering from.

Glasgow's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jahsir Robertson led the charge by putting up 15 points in addition to eight boards and six steals. The dominant performance gave Robertson a new career-high in steals. Emanuel Harris was another key player, dropping a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds.

Glasgow smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

The win snapped Glasgow's losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-4 record. As for DuPont, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glasgow will welcome Simon Gratz at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Simon Gratz will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Glasgow surely won't give up without a fight. DuPont has already played their next contest (against St. Mark's), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
