Bergen Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They took  a  10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northern Highlands Highlanders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Bergen Tech of the  9-7 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in May of 2023.
 Bergen Tech saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Stefano Cutillo Jr., who  went 1-for-3 with a  triple and  an  RBI.  Zach Carter was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while  getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances.
 Bergen Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Northern Highlands, their victory was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 11-13.
 Bergen Tech does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Northern Highlands, they will look to defend their home field  on Friday against Midland Park at 4:00  p.m.
