Sacred Heart Academy can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They breezed by The Park School of Buffalo Pioneers to the tune of 56-29. The Sharks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 25 points or more this season.

Sacred Heart Academy was led to victory by Makenna Chamberlain and Olivia Mistretta. Chamberlain went 6 of 11 on her way to 17 points along with seven rebounds and three steals, while Mistretta posted 12 points in addition to six boards and four steals. That's the most points Mistretta has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Emilee Bacon, who went 5 for 6 en route to 11 points and seven rebounds.

Sacred Heart Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as The Park School of Buffalo only racked up five assists.

Despite the loss, The Park School of Buffalo still got an impressive performance from Ella Tasca, who scored nine points. Jada Briggs was another key player, putting up seven points along with nine boards and three steals.

The win got Sacred Heart Academy back to even at 9-9. As for The Park School of Buffalo, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-7.

As for The Park School of Buffalo, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 51-41 victory against Mount St. Mary Academy on the 5th.
