Hillman entered their  game against Au Gres-Sims  on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Tigers fell just short of the Wolverines by a score of  32-30. Despite the loss, Hillman still got an impressive performance from   Evan Crane, who picked up 112 receiving yards and one  TD. Crane was even better on defense, making 11 total tackles and defending one pass in addition to snagging  an  interception which he returned one-yard for a touchdown.

 Hillman didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Ethan Deville and  Crane. Crane's receiving production has been exceptional  recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 112  receiving yards. He got in on the action too, converting a pick  into a touchdown.
Hillman's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Au Gres-Sims, the  win was  the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.
 Looking ahead, Hillman will square off against Rogers City at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Tigers will be up against the Hurons' rather soft defense (which has allowed 27.63  points per  matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Au Gres-Sims does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
