The Chatfield Chargers will take on the Kent Denver Sun Devils at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
If Lakewood wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Chatfield, they should've done a better job of containing Megan Morrissey. The Chargers walked away with a 3-1 win over the Tigers on Tuesday for which the team can thank Morrissey, who had 23 digs and three assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 16 or more in each of the last five games she's played.
Chatfield had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-11, 26-24, 25-23.
