Buchanan scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 82-75 to the Paw Paw Red Wolves. While losing is never fun, the Bucks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 195th, while the Red Wolves are ranked 46th).

Buchanan's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Paw Paw, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Buchanan will take on Benton Harbor at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Paw Paw, they will host Otsego at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Paw Paw has won 20 straight at home dating back to last season, while Otsego won six straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
