Meanwhile, Linville Hill waltzed into their contest on Friday with eight straight wins but they left with nine. They claimed a resounding 64-29 win over Oxford at home. Linville Hill pushed the score to 49-22 by the end of the third, a deficit the Hornets had little chance of recovering from.
Stephen Smucker continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jerome Stoltzfus, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds.
High Point Baptist Academy's victory bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Linville Hill, they pushed their record up to 15-1 with that victory, which was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season.
