Cincinnati Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Savannah Johnson led the charge by scoring 16 points along with 7 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaylin Davis, who scored 18 points along with 9 rebounds.
Cincinnati Christian's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Belmont, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
