East have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Lowellville Rockets at 6:15 p.m. on February 12th.
Last Monday, East lost to Ursuline at home by a decisive 53-39 margin.
Meanwhile, Lowellville was fully in charge on Thursday, breezing past McKinley 51-10 at home.
It was another big night for Serinna Tych, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Sydney Procick, who scored six points along with six steals.
East's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Lowellville, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-12.
East didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Lowellville in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 56-50 win. Does East have another victory up their sleeve, or will Lowellville turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
