Bloomfield Christian School lost to Oakdale Academy on Friday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Defenders blew past Oakdale Academy 12-6. The result was nothing new for the Defenders, who have now won 11 games by six runs or more so far this season.
Evan Partyka made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over three innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in 12 consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in May of 2024.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jordan Antone, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple.
