Roscommon's Brett Jobin rumbled for the longest rushing play in Jack Pine this season in his game against Farwell last week. Jobin scampered for 75 yards on the play and finished with 324 on the day as his team defeated the Eagles.
Meridian extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Harrison, 41-18. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Mustangs.
Jobin provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Roscommon defeated Farwell.
Jobin was a force in the backfield as Joe Holloway's team bested Scott Barnhart's team.
Adrian Brooks made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Bucks beat the Eagles. The 5-foot-11 junior racked up 2.0 sacks.
Joe Huston was the best wideout in the league this week as Clare defeated Gladwin. Huston racked up 4 receptions for 81 yards. Charlie Bugbee helped Clare's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 70 yards.
The Pioneers' Colton Punches and Huston have formed a dream team this season, leading Jack Pine in both passing and receiving yards. Punches has thrown for 514 yards this season, while Huston has 12 catches for 263 yards. Jobin from Roscommon leads the league in rushing with 1,127 yards.
As it stands, the Flying G's are in third, while the Bucks are in second.
The league will see a high scoring game when Gladwin and Roscommon face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, Tyler Foor's team comes in having scored 128 this season, while the Bucks have scored 145. The Flying G's scored 13 points last week as they fell to Clare.
Roscommon took down Farwell 47-13 last week, the largest margin of any game. Jobin ran for 324 yards in the win.
