  Alijah Bah went supernova for Paint Branch, rushing for 114 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries.
 Another reason for the win was Paint Branch's imposing  defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks.  Abubacarr Juwara was especially locked on to Springbrook's QB and sacked him twice.
 Walter Johnson now  has a winning record of 2-1. As for Paint Branch,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 2-0.
 Walter Johnson strolled past Paint Branch when the teams last played  back in September of 2023 by a score of  22-7. The rematch might be a little tougher for Walter Johnson since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
