The Morning Star Academy Mustangs posted their biggest  win yet this season on Friday. They blew past Unity Christian 60-40. Morning Star Academy pushed the score to  54-30 by the end of the third, a deficit Unity Christian cut but never quite recovered from.
 Morning Star Academy got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Isaac Yowell out in front who  dropped  a double-double on 13 points and 11  rebounds. That's the first time this season that  Yowell  pulled down eight or more   rebounds.  Eli Hughes was another key contributor,  scoring 11 points along with five  assists and five  rebounds.
 Unity Christian's  defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of  Samm Wilbur, who  dropped  a double-double on 16 points and ten  rebounds, and  Graham Foust who  scored 11 points. That was a full 40% of Unity Christian's points, marking the third time in a row he's  earned more than a third of the team's points.
 The  win  got Morning Star Academy back to even at 7-7. As for Unity Christian, they  still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-13.
 Morning Star Academy on the road again  on Tuesday and play against Galesburg Christian at 6:30  p.m.  on January 23rd. Galesburg Christian is coming into the  matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for Unity Christian, they will be playing at home against Pathway Christian at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another  in their respective states (Pathway Christian is ranked 731st in Iowa, while Unity Christian is ranked 750th in Illinois).
