Thousand Oaks (Calif.) receiver Richard Mullaney concluded his season with a spectacular effort against Oaks Christian (Westlake Village, Calif.) and set a state record in the process.
Mullaney grabbed 19 catches for a national high of 303 yards for the week, according to stats compiled by MaxPreps. Those totals boosted his total number of receptions for the season to 124, which surpasses the state record of 121 set by Steve Martin of Los Angeles Wilson back in 1977, according to the Cal-Hi Sports Record Book.
Meanwhile John Robertson of Paramus (N.J.) turned in another impressive performance last week, rushing for a national high of 385 yards in a win over Ridgewood. Last week Robertson passed for 330 yards in a game. Robertson has passed for 1,955 yards this year and rushed for 2,023.

Another top performance came from Boerne-Champion's John Free, who threw for eight touchdown passes in a 66-42 playoff win over Calhoun (Port Lavaca, Texas). Free also had a national-best 565 yards for the week.
