It was a good run, but  Doniphan West unfortunately witnessed the end of their  five-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Lyndon Tigers by a score of  2-1. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in October of 2024.
  Aniston Clary and  Andi Foster certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss.  Clary  had seven  digs and four  aces, while  Foster  had 20  digs and two  assists. Foster is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had 11 or more in each of the last three games she's  played.  Emmyjo Whetstine also deserves some recognition as  she  posted her first  assists of the season.
Doniphan West's defeat dropped their record down to 22-16. As for Lyndon, their victory bumped their record up to 23-18-1.
 Doniphan West does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lyndon, they have already played their next match,  a  2-0  loss against Jefferson County North on the 25th.
