Benjamin Davis is 2-8 against Spring since April of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Falcons will face off against the Lions at 2:00 p.m. Benjamin Davis is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.
It was a Battle of the Birds when Benjamin Davis took on Eisenhower on Friday. The Falcons were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the Eagles. Eight seems to be a good number for the Falcons as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.
Adan Ramirez made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over seven innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Benjamin Davis is 2-1 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 3-9 otherwise. Ramirez was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March of 2025.

In other batting news, Rashon Enard was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases and three runs. He is becoming a predictor of Benjamin Davis' success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 4-2 (and 1-8 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Darwin Virtudazo, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Benjamin Davis was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .407. They are 2-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Spring earned a 7-3 win over Westfield on Saturday.
Like Benjamin Davis, Spring also got a great game from a two-way player: Allen Moore. On the mound, he pitched five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. Moore was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with one RBI.
In other batting news, Joshua Porter was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBI. Moises Arb was another key player, going 3-for-5 with two runs and one RBI.
Spring's record is now 8-9. As for Benjamin Davis, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 5-10.
