Westran extended the longest winning streak in Lewis & Clark this week by beating Paris, 48-6. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Hornets.
Westran took down the Coyotes 48-6 last week, the largest margin of any game. Zane Jacoby threw for 153 yards and 3 touchdowns and ran for 76 yards during the win.
Curtis Jasper's team's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Jake Ingebritson chipped in 188 yards. Parker Howard helped Westran's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 59 yards.
The Hornets' dynamic duo of Jacoby and Jordan Dennis proved tough for Paris to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Howard helped Westran's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 59 yards.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Gary Crusha's team's Kyle Popkes and Slater Stone have proven to be a lethal combination. Popkes has thrown for 1,149 yards this season, while Stone, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 29 catches for 456 yards. Jacoby from Westran leads the league in rushing with 619 yards.
The Hornets are in first place, while Marceline is in fourth place.
