It was a good run, but Chipley unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Walton Braves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Braves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 back in February.

Chipley's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Walton, they picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 4-7-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chipley will head out to challenge Marianna at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Walton, they will venture away from home to square off against Jay at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Walton's pitchers better be ready for this one: Jay has averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season.
