Meanwhile, the third road game was the charm for Cobden, as they earned their first road win of the season. They slipped by Egyptian 49-48 on Monday. The victory was just what Cobden needed coming off of a 70-21 loss in their prior contest.
Dongola bumped their record down to 0-8 with that defeat, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Cobden, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.
