It was a good run, but Aledo unfortunately witnessed the end of their ten-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 64-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lake Dallas Falcons. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Bearcats came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 54th, while the Falcons are ranked 564th).

Aledo's defeat dropped their record down to 16-2. As for Lake Dallas, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-10.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Paschal the next time they take the court. Lake Dallas will head out to face Paschal at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, while Aledo will play them later in the day, at 11:30 a.m.
