Danville entered their tilt with Lebanon on Wednesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Tigers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-8 on Tuesday.

Evan Dure spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on four hits and racked up nine Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jacob Irving, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Trevor Lynch, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Danville now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Lebanon, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Danville will square off against Western Boone at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lebanon, they will face off against Frankfort at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will need to watch out since the Hot Dogs have now posted at least ten runs in their last five games.
