Chester's game on Saturday was all tied up 22-22 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 52-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Plumas Charter Warriors. The Volcanoes' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Leading Plumas Charter to victory were Dalton Bentz and Owen Joseph. Bentz dropped a double-double on 25 points and 18 boards, while Joseph posted 24 points along with six boards and three steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which Bentz has scored at least a third of Plumas Charter's points.

Chester's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Plumas Charter, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-2.

After both having extra time off, Chester and Princeton will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another at 5:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025. As for Plumas Charter, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Butte Valley at 12:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025. Plumas Charter is facing Butte Valley at the right time seeing as Butte Valley is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
