Sydney Shaffer was a major factor in Palm Beach Gardens's victory over Dwyer on Thursday. Shaffer wasn't messing around, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit over four innings pitched. The pitching appearance was her sixth straight with two or fewer walks.
