Volleyball Recap: Treasure Valley Classical Academy Victorious

Treasure Valley Classical Academy was handed a three-set loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Tuesday. They won by a set and slipped past the Victory Charter Vipers 3-2.

Treasure Valley Classical Academy wouldn't go down easily and took Victory Charter into a fifth set where they got it done with a six-point win. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-20, 17-25, 25-14, 15-9.

Treasure Valley Classical Academy can attribute much of their success to Ella Burke, who had five digs and five aces. The dominant performance also gave Burke a new career-high in assists (21).

Burke wasn't the only good server: Treasure Valley Classical Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 32 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Victory Charter only served nine aces.

Treasure Valley Classical Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Victory Charter, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Treasure Valley Classical Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Centennial Baptist on the 16th. As for Victory Charter, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Rimrock on the 11th.
