The Greene County Wildcats's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Richland Rangers at 6:00 p.m. on February 12th. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Greene County's game was all tied up 20-20 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with a 38-30 win over Moss Point. The victory was just what Greene County needed coming off of a 48-18 loss in their prior game.
Greene County found their leader in underclassman Rakhiya Moody, who scored 21 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Meanwhile, Richland had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.6 points), and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They snuck past McComb with a 49-43 win.
Greene County is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 16-15 record this season. As for Richland, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-9.
