The Flanagan Falcons can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Coral Springs Charter with a sharp 48-28 victory. The win was just what Flanagan needed coming off of a 46-26 loss in their prior match.
Flanagan found their leader in underclassman D?naela Myers, who dropped a double-double on 30 points and 19 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Myers has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Melissa Ayebah, who scored six points along with five steals.
Flanagan's win bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Coral Springs Charter, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-5.
Flanagan will play host again and welcome the Bulldogs, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Florida (Braddock is ranked 210th, while the Falcons are ranked 207th). Coral Springs Charter will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against the Raiders on February 5th.
